Simone obtained his undergraduate degree in Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Rome 'La Sapienza' and a Masters degree in Physics at the University of Pisa.   Miaomiao Jin - MIT   Miaomiao is a Ph.D. student at MIT. Her research is about nuclear materials, specifically materials under irradiation conditions, focusing on the radiation damage and degradation of material properties. She is from China and has been at MIT for five years. In her spare-time, she loves cooking, baking, crochet, and hiking.

Prashanth completed his Master's Degree at MIT in 2018. He has been fascinated with aeroplanes and flying since he was a child, which inspired him to study aeronautical engineering. Prashanth enjoys teaching engineering and science, and as participated in HSSP at MIT, as well as The Innovation League.

    Shalini Gupta - MIT  Shalini Gupta is a graduate student in the Biology department at MIT. She moved to Cambridge all the way from India to start grad school at MIT two years ago and it has been an amazing journey so far! Shalini works in Stephen Bell’s lab is trying to figure out how DNA replication is initiated in tiny yeast that share a lot in common with humans. She spends her spare time organizing events for graduate students across MIT like kayaking, and she loves meeting new people!
